WHAT ARE THE FUNCTIONS OF THE TWO COVERS LOCATED IN THE PERIMETER OF THE POOL?

The first is the skimmer which is attached to the pool shell. The role of the skimmer is to maintain the quality of the pool water by sucking it in and pushing it through the filtration system. The second is the drywell which is an essential element for monitoring the level of underground water circulating around the pool. Please see our maintenance guide for more information on proper drywell management.

IS THE MAINTENANCE OF A FIBERGLASS POOL EASY?

Yes, compared to other types of inground pools. However, it is imperative to monitor the chemical levels of your water to maintain good water quality and avoid damage to the shell coating. Most of the concerns raised when a change in the aesthetic of the surface is noted are a result of poorly balanced water. First, you will need to take a water sample to your nearest pool retailer and have it analyzed by a pool specialist. Upon receiving the analysis of the water chemical levels, refer to our maintenance guide for possible solutions!

WHY CHOOSE A FIBERGLASS POOL VERSUS ANOTHER TYPE?

Installation is much faster, maintenance required is minimal, your pets can enjoy it too (without damaging the surface), and fiberglass is a naturally insulating material that helps to maintain water temperature.

CAN I EMPTY THE WATER FROM MY POOL AT ANY TIME?

At no time should a fiberglass pool be empty since by doing so, the integrity of the installation and the pool could be compromised.

WHEN CAN I TAKE MY FIRST SWIM?

Since a fiberglass pool is a one-piece pool, the installation can be done in one day. Once the pool is in the ground, all that’s left to complete is coordinating the plumbing and electrical connections of your equipment. Once that’s done, you can hop in and enjoy your new oasis!
